On Monday, April 8 2019, we hosted Davide Fornasiero, regional brand ambassador and coordinator of the Campari Group. The event was held at Fétiche bar Ljubljana, where Davide presented a world of bitters among aperitifs and digestifs, a 100-year history of the Negroni cocktail and prepared a tasting of various Campari cocktails. After the presentation, guests had a chance to hang out with Davide and ask him additional questions. Davide also prepared participants’ favorite Campari cocktails that were accompanied with delicious snacks made by Fétich.
Who is Davide Fornasiero?
Davide comes from the Italian city of Padua, from the heart of Italian bitters. The longtime bartender, through his work and experience in Italy and abroad, has gained the affection of the Milan-based Campari Group, who has trusted him to spread the knowledge and passion for this 130-year-old drink across Europe. Campari, the most popular bitter among bartenders in the world, is also penetrating the Slovenian market. During his career, Davide has taught in more than 20 countries in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and at the Campari Academy in Milan. With his knowledge and relaxed Italian personality he reveals what else lies in the wonderful world of bartending.”
